FOR CLASSIFICATION WEB PLUS PROPOSAL SYSTEM USERS ONLY:
The Library of Congress has added a new feature to the proposal process in Classification Web Plus. Instead of emailing the Policy, Training, and Cooperative Programs Division when a proposal is ready to be scheduled to a monthly list for review, users will now select "Submit for Review" in the action menu (wrench icon) in the Proposal System. Once the proposal has been submitted the proposer will receive an email with a PDF copy of the proposal, and PTCP will be alerted that a new proposal has been submitted.
As a part of this update, the records for proposals now display the organization code for the submitter, the submitted date, and the submit status. This information can be found in the lower lefthand section of the proposal in the MARC Display.
Workflow updates to the Subject Heading Manual will be published in the coming weeks. If you have questions regarding the updates, email policy at loc.gov<mailto:policy at loc.gov>. If you encounter technical issues while using Classification Web Plus, email support at classweb.org<mailto:support at classweb.org>.
